Aaron has exhibited at the library previously and we are happy to have him back. This series of paintings is titled Birds of a Feather. You can see Aaron’s paintings in the Mellon room the entire month of August whenever the library is open. The room is occasionally booked for private use; please call ahead or check our calendar to be sure the exhibit is open for viewing.
“J Aaron Mitchell is a Maine born artist, self taught and wildly successful. He lives in NEH with his super hot wife and 3 beautiful children. A big fan of Audobon – these paintings are a tribute to that era of bird paintings. Mitchell has sold paintings to people all over the world and plans to use the proceeds of this summers work to buy a Toyota pick up truck with 33 inch tires.” – J Aaron Mitchell
