May Exhibit: Acadia Senior College, “Conversations”

The 11th annual Acadia Senior College Art Show is on
display at the Northeast Harbor Library through May 31st. This year’s theme is “Conversations”
which members have creatively interpreted in many ways. Over twenty-five talented artists are
showcased in the exhibit which features a variety of media including watercolor and oil
paintings, mixed media, wood carvings, photographs, and collage.

Following tradition, artists Susan Lerner, Sydney Roberts Rockefeller, and Melita Westerlund
have created the doorway arch composed entirely from detritus collected from the Window
Dressers (www.windowdressers.org) project. (Pictured)

The exhibit can be viewed during library hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9
a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The room is occasionally booked for private use, please call ahead if you are making special arrangements to visit.
