March: Women’s History Month Exhibit

The Northeast Harbor Library invites all women and girls to submit artwork to be displayed in our Mellon room for the month of March. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Local Women.” You can choose any local woman to celebrate – a teacher, a friend, a relative, or any other woman – and let her inspire your work.

Register and drop off your work before Friday, March 1st.

Additionally we are creating a “living collage” in the Mellon Room to be continuously added to all month long. There will be a collaging workshop Friday, March 1st, 3:30 – 4:30, and we will provide materials throughout the month; everyone is welcome to participate. Please bring any photographs or other materials you would like to add to the collage; we can make copies to be pasted down.

A closing reception will be held on Friday, March 22nd, 5 pm – 6 pm at the library; everyone is welcome.

Please contact Kate Young at kyoung@nehlibrary.org or 207 276 3333 if you are interested in exhibiting work.
