February: Fiction Pick
This is a long book, a brilliant book, and a thought provoking book. It introduces its characters in what appear to be discrete short stories. Later they meet each other and become intertwined. Continuing the line of thought in Peter Wohlleben’s The Hidden Life of Trees, about the community of trees in the woods, it reimagines man’s place in nature. Vividly written.
