This April the Northeast Harbor Library is hosting the Women & Water exhibit. Curated by Liz Cutler, the idea for this exhibit started as a solo show celebrating the wondrous places the Cold Tits, Warm Hearts (CTWH) swim. CTWH is a year round woman centered cold-water swimming group on MDI. The talents, creativity, generosity, and the sheer joy of swimming together evolved into some of the “artits” exhibiting together for the month of April – in words, paintings, photographs and song. “Artits” in this exhibit are Susan Aripotch, Heidi Turner Gin Makja, Rose Lauro Damon, Mariah Reading, Tracy Haskel, Iain Drummond, Robin Snyder-Drummond, Julia Thomas, Sara Fox and Liz Cutler. This show will be up from April 1st to April 29th in the Mellon Room of the Northeast Harbor Library.
Please join in, share the experience with us Friday April 21, 5pm – 7pm for a festive reception! All welcome.
