September Exhibit “Light, Composition and Moments Painting the Portrait,” portraits by Judy Taylor

This September, the Northeast Harbor Library is pleased to welcome artist Judy Taylor to exhibit work in the Mellon Room; her exhibit is titled “Light, Composition and Moments Painting the Portrait.” Judy will be showing portraits painted within the last two years during the pandemic from life and also from the zoom platform with a live model posing. Most of the portraits are 3 to 5 hours duration and one of the benefits of the zoom platform is that models can sit for me from all over the world. This series reflects some of that diversity.

Judy’s exhibit will be on display in the Mellon room of the Northeast Harbor Library from Thursday, September 1st until Friday, September 30th. It will be available for viewing during library hours. Occasionally, the Mellon room is booked for private use, if you are making a special trip to see the exhibit, please call ahead to check availability at 207 276 3333.
