Looking for color? The Northeast Harbor Library has an exhibit on display for the month of April full of color. Block Prints and Painted cloths, Surface Designed Textiles is an exhibit curated by staff member Judith Blank, in part to show a collection of block printed textiles collected in Rajasthan, India, in 1969. They give an idea of the vibrant cloth worn by working people .
The exhibit will remain up until the end of April. The Mellon room is occasionally booked for private use, please call ahead if you’re making special arrangements to see the show.
