A new exhibit curated by Art in Public Spaces, “Modern Maine/Artists”, features the distinct styles of eleven Maine artists throughout August at the Northeast Harbor Library. A wide range of themes – flowers, abstracts, winter, windows, planes, trains, fog, mountains, trucks and crows – is presented in work by contemporary artists Nicole Herz, Liddy Hubbell, R. Scott Baltz, Stefan Eliott, Roberta Sprague, Jon Ho, Ben Lincoln, Michael C Rosenstein, Ed Nadeau, Cathy Rees and Holly Meade. All the work is for sale with 20% going to the NEH Library.
