During the month of January 2014, the library will exhibit paintings by Sam Dunlap in the Mellon Room.
Sam says, “Rather than a theoretical manifesto, I would only say that the paintings are a combination of abstract and various simple ideas. I do each series in the same size and then move on to a new one.”
Sam Dunlap attended North Carolina School for the Arts. He came to painting by way of classical guitar and drawing. Sam lives and works in Bar Harbor.
