During the month of November, artist J. Aaron Mitchell will exhibit his paintings at the Northeast Harbor Library. Aaron’s paintings are big and bright, often marked by primary colors and suggesting of graffiti art. He paints on various materials including glass and old planks with acrylics, oils and spray paints.
Aaron is originally from Augusta, Maine and grew up living in Maine and Alabama. Eventually, he settled on MDI where he now works in banking. His studio is made from an old woodshed in Northeast harbor where he lives his wife Erika Wibby and their three young children.
The show is on exhibit in the Mellon Room. As the room is occasionally used for private meetings, call the library prior to making the trip to Northeast Harbor to view the show.
