cloudLibrary, a large collection of audiobooks and e-books, is available to libraries that belong to the Maine InfoNet consortium. Login using your NEHL cardnumber. With cloudLibrary, you can borrow up to 3 items at a time.
Hoopla‘s collection includes audiobooks, e-books, graphic novels, music, television, documentaries, and films. Hoopla can be used in a browser or with the app. To create an account you will need to provide your NEHL card number and an email address; you will also choose a password for your Hoopla account. The library pays per item borrowed with Hoopla; you may borrow up to five items per month. Items in Hoopla are always available and there is no waitlist.
Overdrive is a digital collection of e-books, audiobooks and magazines. As a member of Hancock County Download Library, NEHL patrons have access to Overdrive. To access the Overdrive Collection via web browser or their app, Libby, create an account by selecting “Northeast Harbor Library” and using your NEHL card number. You may borrow up to 3 items at a time.
We have both the print and digital subscription to the New York Times. Our digital subscription comes with membership of the Hancock County Download Library.

We have more than 7,300 records in our Digital Archives catalogue, with close to 20,000 scanned items, including photographs, postcards, maps, documents and oral history recordings.
The Digital Maine Library (formerly Marvel!) provides access to full text articles and abstracts from magazines, newspapers, journals and reference books to assist in research. If you have location sharing turned off, you may be asked to input your NEHL barcode to verify that you are a Maine user. Access to the Digital Maine Library is provided via the MaineInfo Net consortium.
Mango Languages has over 72 courses of language learning programs, including special topics such as “Spanish for Librarians,” children’s programs, ESL programs, and Mango Premiere subtitled films. Mango can be accessed via web browser or app. You can use your NEHL card number to create an account with Mango.
