September Exhibit: As I See It, paintings by Sue Aripotch

This September the Northeast Harbor Library is excited to welcome local artist Sue
Aripotch to the Mellon room for an exhibit titled “As I See It.” Sue will display her bold,
colorful paintings from September 1-30th at the library.

As a jeweler for 40 years and an artist for her entire life, Sue Aripotch has explored
beauty as a path to wholeness. Her paintings honor the Earth and humanity, creating
quiet spaces of calm and inspiration that awaken the part of us that restores ourselves,
the planet, and one another.

There will be several opportunities to meet the artist including an opening reception on
Thursday, September 4th, from 5-7 at the library and a closing reception on Monday,
September 29th before the exhibit comes down at the end of the month. All are
welcome to attend. Sue’s work will be for sale at both receptions and throughout the
month; exhibit sales support both our local artists and the library.

Additionally, Sue will present a slideshow at the library on Friday, September 12th about
her travels in South Africa. No registration necessary.
