Join artists from ArtWaves this December at the Northeast Harbor Library. This exhibit is a gathering point of their individual practices, as they prepare to carry the light through the winter – each in their own way. The show is up for the month of December in the Mellon Room at the Northeast Harbor Library.
This multimedia show features works from many artists, including Ben Lincoln, Charles Zeph, Finn Teach, Greg Mason Burns, Jessica L Harris, Linda Rowell-Kelley, Liz Cutler, Margaret Beaulieu, Mary Davidson, Nicole DeSimone, Jane MacKeil, Roberta Sprague, Christine Swersey, Jean Forbes, Brian Caine.
You are invited to our post-holiday closing reception; have some time with the show as a whole – a perfect time to meet the artists! The closing reception will be held on Saturday, December 30th, 3:30 – 5. This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome!
Additionally, Liz Cutler will lead a workshop on stained glass mosaic making at the library. The workshop will be on Saturday, December 30, from 12 – 2. Registration is required, you can sign up at the front desk of the library, by emailing talktous@nehlibrary.org, or calling 207 276 3333. Come create a glass suncatcher to hang in your window, then come back when it’s dry for the reception! This workshop is offered for free. We will be working with small pieces of glass, so this workshop is recommended for children older than eight and adults.
The exhibit is on display at the library December 1st – December 31st. The room is sometimes booked for private use, you may want to call ahead at 207 276 3333 to be sure that it is available for viewing.
