Art in Public Spaces presents ArtX3, three great exhibits in one great space, for the month of August at the Northeast harbor Library. There will be an opening reception on Monday August 4th from 5-7pm.
Shapes of the Wind in the Mellon Room : As an island community, much of the unique character and history of Mount Desert island revolves around our relationship to wind and water. “Shapes of the Wind” brings together a diverse group of Maine artists whose work in some way connects to the wind and the sea. Featuring Adele Ursone, Liz Cutler, Jeanne Perkins, Nancy Manter, Ben Lincoln, Susan Beallor-Snyder and Judy Taylor, and Melita Westerlund.
Selected work from land and sea – Maine artists in the halls of the library: Marion Lafollette, Nicole Herz, Katie Noble-Churchill, and Avy Claire.
