During the month of September, the library will exhibit paintings by George Crosby.
Crosby lives in Blue Hill and is originally from New York City. He fell in love with the beauty of Mount Desert Island via the Hudson River School and then
by incremental visits to Maine in the 1980’s and 1990’s. He has been painting and exhibiting in Northeast Harbor since the mid-1980’s. This exhibit presents a survey of paintings that continue from that early period to the present.
