June is LGBTQ2IA+ Pride Month

LGBTQ2IA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Two-Spirit, Intersex, and Asexual/Aromantic) Pride was first celebrated in 1970, following the Stonewall Riots of 1969. At the Stonewall Inn in New York City, patrons started a revolt against police brutality against the LGBTQ2IA+ community. The success of the riots that went on for several days is credited to Marsha P. Johnson, a black transwoman and sex worker who championed LGBTQ2IA+ rights.

We have a diverse selection of LGBTQ2IA+ movies and books for both adults and children; this is selection of recent releases and classics!
