November: Fiction Pick
This is an amusing book, written in a style that pulls the reader along. It is a bit bawdy in one part, so be warned. The character Mrs. Hancock, before she became Mrs. Hancock, was a lady of the night. Set in London of 1785 amidst the world of shipping, it’s a good tale. It’s long, 400 pages or so, but the story keeps moving.
